Let’s give back!!!!
Ok, once again I am going to make a “sales pitch”. I believe that there isn’t a single person alive who doesn’t have something that they believe in. It could be a medical research facility, it could be an educational, political, or social group that has a special meaning, a religious organization, or it could even be, as I have picked up the desire to support soldiers who are deployed overseas. At any rate, I am not telling you what to support, but rather that everyone needs a cause to support. When I say support, It could be as simple as donating money, or it could be a hands on giving of time, talent, or skills. Anyway you look at it though, when you give to something you believe in, it makes you feel good that you can help. You become a part of something bigger, something greater than yourself.
There are some things to consider too. If you have never done any volunteer work, or donated much money, the first thing you need to figure out is a cause. Now while for some of us it is easy, we just pick a subject or matter we feel very deeply about, and go from there. Others may have a problem finding a cause they wish to support. People find inspiration from almost anywhere; although real life experience, family life, and friends are all great places to start. once you have found your cause, you need to find an organization who supports the cause, and then find a way, either by donating time, or money, to get involved.
Whatever cause you decide to support, and however you decide to support them, giving back is a great way to live a little.
My challenge to everyone today: make a commitment to give back, find a cause to support, and then make a commitment to support that cause.

You have a good point, every little bit counts!
I agree with you. I have volunteered at many places. When my daughter was young it was her school as a room mother and also in the computer lab. My ex couldn’t understand why I did it. His idea was you always get paid money for your work. I have also helped people with reading skills. Now I help support missionaries and various non profits groups. It just makes you feel a little better when you can help someone else.
